Scope of work
An engagement is defined by the quote we send you in writing before any work starts. The quote names the site(s) covered, the work to be performed, the fixed price, and the response and resolution expectations.
Authorisation
By engaging us you confirm that you are the owner of the site(s) listed in the quote, or that you have written authorisation from the owner to grant us administrative access. We will not perform work on a site you cannot lawfully grant us access to.
Payment
Rescue cleanups are billed at the flat rate quoted, due on completion. Subscription plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually. Refunds: if we cannot clean a site we agreed to clean, you pay nothing. Shield is cancellable at any time, refunded pro-rata for the unused term.
Reinfection guarantee
Every Rescue cleanup carries a 30-day reinfection guarantee. If the same site is compromised within 30 days of our cleanup we will re-clean it at no additional cost. The guarantee covers compromises that we missed or did not adequately remediate; it does not cover new compromises arising from changes you make after our work.
Liability
We are responsible for performing the work in the quote with reasonable care. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the underlying compromise that caused you to hire us. Total liability for any one engagement is capped at the amount you paid for that engagement.
Backups
We may take backups of the site before performing destructive operations. Backups are kept for the duration of the engagement plus 30 days for guarantee purposes and then deleted, unless you ask in writing for us to retain them longer.
Changes
We may update these terms. Active engagements continue under the terms in force on the day the quote was accepted.
