Terms of service

Scope of work
An engagement is defined by the quote I send you in writing before any work starts. The quote names the site(s) covered, the work to be performed, the fixed price, and the response and resolution expectations.
Authorisation
By engaging me you confirm that you are the owner of the site(s) listed in the quote, or that you have written authorisation from the owner to grant me administrative access. I will not perform work on a site you cannot lawfully grant me access to.
Payment
Rescue cleanups are billed at the flat rate quoted, due on completion. Subscription plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually. Refunds: if I cannot clean a site I agreed to clean, you pay nothing. Shield is cancellable at any time, refunded pro-rata for the unused term.
Reinfection guarantee
Cleanup scope and remediation are agreed in writing in the engagement proposal before any work begins.
Liability
I are responsible for performing the work in the quote with reasonable care. I are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the underlying compromise that caused you to engage me. Total liability for any one engagement is capped at the amount you paid for that engagement.
Backups
I may take backups of the site before performing destructive operations. Backups are kept for the duration of the engagement plus 30 days for guarantee purposes and then deleted, unless you ask in writing to retain them longer.
Changes
I may update these terms. Active engagements continue under the terms in force on the day the quote was accepted.
